Man, I wish we had a place like this in Texas, but it wouldn't be the same. We were in London for five days and came here every evening.
The first two nights we came for drinks and had a blast. On a Saturday afternoon we had the pleasure of sitting outside. It was truly like being around your friends and having a great time. We even saw a British celebrity there with his friends and family.
Sunday we came back for the roast and it was unbelievable. My only wish was that I had brought my phone to take photos. Best pub food we had in London.
If you are in Kensington make time to drop by The Windsor Castle. It provided a heck of a good time. -

A beautiful county dive to get to it. Sticking with moats and it served it purpose to protect the knig and kingdom. The center motorcade could be seen from the upper floor and the queen was there easily seen made the trip all the more special.

The food delicious and the service was good. We had the fish and chips. I wish we had asked to sit in the outdoor area in back. I read about it in the reviews but wasn't offered to sit there. This was a nice place and we would have gone back if we didn't want to try new places.

We tried this on our first night in London and were pleasantly surprised. The interior was charmingly quirky. The beers were so-so (maybe we have gotten spoiled living in Seattle) but the Sausages that came with the mashed potatoes were amazing. The insides were creamy and the skin wasn't chewy, so it melted in my mouth. Even though I ordered a different meal, I stole quite a bit of this from my boyfriends plate!

Tasty dinner in Kensington. The neighborhood is a nice area. The place can get extremely busy on a Friday night. Most tables after 8pm were reserved.
They had a pretty good selection of cask ales and the food was really tasty. I had the fish and chips. The fish was quality fish and the chips were really tasty. My sister had the sausage with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was also really good.
They had us order from a server but then never checked back on us again, it was hard to get anything else. It's like they have table service but then don't actually do it.
It's a good stop with good food.
